Responsibilities:

JOB DESCRIPTION (includes, but not limited to the following)
• Surveys construction projects to identify and evaluate physical conditions, safety practices, hazardous situations and compliance with established safety standards.
• Reviews history of accidents and claims and prepares reports and recommendations as required.
• Conduct proper level of Site Safety Orientations and Site Required Training to subcontractors and work partners.
• Spending 60% the time in the project field coaching and correcting "At-Risk Behaviors."
• Coordinates safety of the projects as a whole schedule, loss history, upcoming activities, etc. and provides stimulus for proactive loss control efforts.
• Conduct accident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective/preventive action.
• Assists in the development and implementation of standardized OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) .
• Interfaces with the related safety professionals to direct and improve effectiveness of safety standards, codes and regulations.
• Coordinates, develops and /or conducts weekly safety meeting.
• Reviews subcontractor safety program to ensure compliance with projects safety standards.
• Assures the proper use of productive equipment.

Requirements:

POSITION DEMANDS (Required experience & training)
1. Development, implementation and management experience with EHS Management Systems. (Identifying EHS hazards, determining associated risks and ensuring corrective controls).

2. Significant experience in shipyard/construction operations and performing EHS inspection duties.

3. Good understanding of industrial hygiene and safety regulations and application.

4. Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) record keeping requirements and familiarity with basic medical terminology.

5. Excellent people skills and bilingual written and verbal communication (Chinese and English).

6. Computer literate with advanced knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, and the internet.

7. Must be physically able to walk to all yard locations and be relocated if needed.

8. Working locations may be but not limited to Kaohsiung, Taichung, Changhua, and Taipei.

9. Typically has an Bachelor's Degree in Business, EHS, or related field with two (2) years' experience in HSE-S related activities.

10. Have valid HSE-S certificates.

The collection of personal data

The types of personal data that CDWE requests from you and the ways that CDWE processes it are determined by the requirements of the country in which the position is located, and not the country in which you reside.

CDWE usually collects personal data directly from you when you apply for a role with us, such as your name, address, contact information, photographs and videos, work and educational history, achievements, and test results or certifications. CDWE collects similar personal data about you from third parties, such as professional recruiting firms, your references, prior employers, CDWE employees with whom you have interviewed, and employment background check providers, to the extent this is permitted by applicable law. CDWE may also collect personal data about you online to the extent that you have made this information publicly available. For example, CDWE may find your profile on professional social media websites (such as LinkedIn) and contact you about the suitable function.

Use of your personal data

CDWE collects and uses your personal data for legitimate human resources and business management reasons including:
- identifying and evaluating candidates for potential employment, as well as for future roles that may become available;
- recordkeeping in relation to recruiting and hiring;
- conducting criminal history checks as permitted by applicable law;
- protecting our legal rights to the extent authorized or permitted by law; or
- emergency situations where the health or safety of one or more individuals may be endangered.

Data recipients and international data transfers

Your personal data may be accessed by the recruiters and interviewers of CDWE, and performed in a limited access to your personal data by the administrative functions and IT personnel of CDWE as well.
個人資料會由本公司之招募人員及面試人員取得予以使用,且於本公司內部負責行政事務之人員及 IT 人員亦可能因執行職務所需而有限度地使用個人資料。

CDWE uses third party service providers to provide a recruiting software system. CDWE also shares your personal data with other third party service providers that may assist us in recruiting talent, administering and evaluating pre-employment screening and testing, and improving our recruiting practices.
本公司會使用第三方服務提供者所提供之徵才軟體系統。本公司亦會雇用其他第三方服務提供者協助本公司辦理徵才活動、進行人員聘僱前之篩選及測試及改善徵才作法,個人資料亦會提供予上揭廠商知悉。

Data retention

If you accept an offer of employment by us, any relevant personal data collected during your pre-employment period will become part of your personnel records and will be retained in accordance with specific country requirements. If CDWE does not employ you, CDWE may nevertheless continue to retain and use your personal data for a period of time (which may vary depending on the country) for system administration purposes, to consider you for potential future roles, and to perform research.
倘您接受本公司僱傭合約之約定,則任何聘僱前蒐集之相關個人資料都將成為您個人檔案之一部分,且將依照相關國家之規範保存。惟倘未經本公司聘僱,本公司仍可能繼續保存及使用個人資料一段時間(該期間會因國家而有所不同)以做為系統管理用及將您列入未來職位考量。

Security

CDWE has implemented generally accepted standards of technical and operational security to protect personal data from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Only authorized personnel of CDWE and of our third party service providers are provided access to personal data, and these employees and third party service providers are required to treat this information as confidential. Despite these precautions, CDWE cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not obtain access to your personal data.

CDWE also has implemented measures that are designed to ensure that our processing of your personal data complies with this Privacy Notice.
因為徵才目的所蒐集及使用之個人資料,本公司設有合理之程序以確保其準確性及完整性,並保持最新版本。本公司亦有相關措施予以確保您個人資料之處理將遵循本隱私權聲明。

In accordance with applicable law, you may have;
- a right to request your personal data that CDWE holds and the methods of how CDWE uses that information;
